Minty Chocolate Fudge Puppy Chow
A fun twist on puppy chow that young and old will love!
Ingredients
Chocolate Fudge Puppy Chow ingredients:
- 5 cups Chex Rice Cereal
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tbsp butter
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup your favorite brownie mix
Minty Puppy Chow ingredients:
- 5 cups Chex Rice Cereal
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- ½ to 1 tsp mint extract depends on how strong you like it
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- green food coloring as much as needed to get desired color
- nonpareils optional
Instructions
Chocolate Fudge directions:
- Measure cereal and place in a large bowl.
- In a microwavable bowl, microwave semi-sweet chips, peanut butter and butter on high for 30 second intervals, stirring in between each, for no more than a total of 90 seconds.
- Stir until smooth. Stir in vanilla.
- Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated.
- Pour into a 1 gallon resealable bag.
- Add brownie mix. Seal bag and shake until well coated.
Minty directions:
- Measure cereal and place in a large bowl.
- In a microwavable bowl, microwave white chocolate chips, peanut butter and coconut oil on high for 30 second intervals, stirring between each, for no more than a total of 90 seconds.
- Stir until smooth. Stir in mint extract and green food coloring.
- Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Sprinkle with nonpareils if desired.
- Pour into a 1 gallon resealable bag.
- Add powdered sugar. Seal bag and shake until well coated.
