Ingredients
  • 1 medium red onion, halved and thinly sliced
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1½ teaspoons Kosher salt
Instructions
  1. Combine the warm water, sugar and salt. Stir to dissolve. Add the vinegar and combine well.
  2. Place sliced onion in a sealable container. (This can be a mason jar with a lid or any tightly sealing storage container)
  3. Pour the liquid over the onions, filling to the top. Seal and let sit for at least a couple of hours. Honestly, the longer they sit, the better they are! They last for weeks! Enjoy!
