Octoberfest Bratwurst Sandwich

Everyone knows how much I LOVE Octoberfest!  In honor of the occasion I present part two of my celebration of one of the best festivals ever!  This awesome Bavarian tradition started in 1810 and goes on for 16 days every year, starting in mid- September and going through the beginning of October.  More than 6 million people take part in it every year. This recipe is just one fun and really easy way to bring the celebration home.  Any bratwurst will do, though it is particularly good with brats that are still raw, plumping them as they simmer in the beer broth before you throw them on the grill for a few quick grill marks.  So easy and so tasty!  Hope you enjoy!
